Bold electronic post-punk trio DOSS began as Sorley’s Mackay’s solo project in a bedroom studio in Glasgow. Following the recruitment of Mark Black (bass), and Chilton Fawcett (drums), DOSS has now evolved into a fully-fledged three-piece, known for their galvanizing music and provocative wordplay.

DOSS tackle themes such as gentrification, addiction, zero-hours contracts, and generational trauma in Scotland, maintaining a strong Scottish cultural identity, emphatically expressed through their Glaswegian dialect. Sorley’s sharp, witty lyricism, blended with pounding drumbeats and driving basslines, has allowed the band to carve a unique niche with a signature sound.

Catch DOSS live on the night of Saturday 19th July at Gullivers in Manchester’s Northern Quarter with American tourmates Crop Rot and Mancunian DIY outfit Pretty Cool.
