What would ‘The Nightmare Before Christmas’ look like chewed up and spat out by comedians, theatremakers, writers and musicians?

We’ve sent our artists through the holiday trees of both Halloween and Christmas and entrusted them to come up with a way of meshing the two into coexistence, thereby saving Christmas!

Watch as our acts distort a Tim Burton stop-motion musical into something ridiculous, beautiful or unrecognisable for your viewing pleasure. We have entrusted each one of them with a chunk of the film to re-enact, riff around, mash up or explode. There’s no way of telling what will happen!

FLIM NITE is a monthly experimental performance night based in Manchester’s Northern Quarter. We were founded at the legendary Three Minute Theatre and will move to the upstairs of Gullivers for our November show!

We will not be showing a movie. We will be making a FLIM.

There are THREE open mic slots available! Email us at flimnitemanchester@gmail.com for a slot. Slots are three minutes long and material must be ‘Con Air’-related. Remember it’s flim as in FLIM and nite as in NITE. Got it?
