Fuse Live Featuring Pleasure Barge, Stray One, Plexus & Rebekah Lindo

Fuse FM are back for one more super merry show before we all head off on our xmas hols! We’ll be bringing you a fab selection of local talent for a groooovy send off into the new year – and all for an absolutely wonderful cause.

In true Christmas spirit, all proceeds from this show will go to the Booth Centre who do essential work offering advice, training, meals and creative activities to those who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. £5 tickets on sale now!

Pleasure Barge
A Manchester-based funk punk outfit who have quickly garnered a cult following owing to their genre-bending influences, loud personalities and Madchester-inspired live shows. After releasing a a small mix-tape of B-sides entitled ‘We Mean No Harm’, and their first single, ‘Start Up’, the band went on to headline Manchester’s Academy 3 and perform infamous sets at their sold-out Soup Kitchen and CUBO shows The band will be touring in early 2019 with a new line-up and yet to be disclosed dates and locations.

Stray One
Fluctuating between battle mode (guitar and drums) and flight mode (guitar and piano) they’re at once a raw, uncontrollable racket and a deep, beautiful melancholy. With massive choruses and intricate, fluttering instrumentation, Stray One are a powerhouse of head-banging, high drama.

Plexus
Manchester Indie band formed by two school friends. By bedroom jamming on Ableton, Plexus have developed a contemporary blend of ambient, indie funk. Their original songs are created using jazz inspired chords, mixing rhythmical disco guitar with echoing lead guitar riffs and catchy synth string melodies. Their live shows are raw and driving, using hip hop beats to give their songs a fresh sound.

Rebekah Lindo
A singer songwriter from Surrey studying in Manchester. Rebekah has been singing for as long as she can remember and started to pursue singing more seriously this year. She is inspired by the likes of Nina Simone and Amy Winehouse. Rebekah uses her jazz, soul and RnB influences to create personal representations of events in her life which audiences can identify with.
