***** CANCELLED****** Glasswerk concerts presents Jesse Lawson With guests Cecil

Please note this is an 18+ event

After years of successfully touring the world as the rhythm guitarist and co-songwriter with the rock group “Sleeping With Sirens”, Jesse Lawson decided to step down from the group to focus on his family and his new musical venture. Once he was home, settling into being a family man, he decided it was time to start writing music for his next chapter. He hand-picked some of his hometown friends who he trusted to make this the best it could be. He called Adam Boyd who is a local bass-playing legend with 19 years of experience. Adam jumped at the opportunity to back Jesse on his next chapter.

Next, Jesse called a trusted, well recognized drummer in the area with years of experience named Nick Welsh. Nick and his family had recently moved back into the area and happened to be looking for his next musical venture. This was clearly meant to be. The three instantly meshed at their first rehearsal. They then decided to take it a step further and put out a record (Chapter II) independently. Jesse didn’t want to put out anything less than perfect so he put together an Indiegogo campaign with a goal of $15,000. They went above and beyond their goal with the help of their friends, family and Jesse’s huge fan base who have stuck by his side all the way.

They recorded the 6 song EP titled “Jesse Lawson – Chapter II” with a friend of Jesse’s, Singer/Songwriter Mike Herrera (MXPX, Tumbledown) at Monkey Trench Studios in Bremerton Washington. They didn’t stop there; Dan Korneff, one of today’s most sought after engineers, welcomed the idea of mixing and mastering the record! Dan has worked with My Chemical Romance, Paramore, Lamb of God, Mayday Parade, Papa Roach, Pierce the Veil, Breaking Benjamin, and many more. The EP launched on May 20th, 2014 and is now available on iTunes, Amazon, Google play, Spotify, Sonos and Pandora. Along with the release of the record, they also released a music video for the opening track on the album titled “The Road Is Broken”, getting nearly 10,000 views within the first week. And have currently put out two singles “Tall Trees & Long Drives” and “New Orleans Train”.They are now planning their next steps and getting their stage setup planned out. Excited to share their music with the world! – See more at: http://glasswerk.co.uk/concerts/gig/13349/Jesse+Lawson-Gullivers+Lounge,+Manchester/#sthash.FBT4TpPq.dpuf
