DHP Family presents Harrison Storm

Please note this is an 18+ event

Harrison Storm is an Australian singer-songwriter whose soulful vocals and tasteful, finger picked guitar playing have drawn comparisons to contemporaries like Ben Howard and Matt Corby.

A native of the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria, and raised in a musical household, Storm spent his formative years soaking in the seaside splendor of his hometown and immersing himself in the sounds of The Beatles and Neil Young. As his own musical ambitions grew, so did his influences, with artist like City and Colour, Jeff Buckley and Angus & Julia Stone.

After leaving university to focus on music, Storm began busking in the streets of Melbourne, eventually earning enough to finance his debut EP, 2015’s Sense Of Home, produced by friend Hayden Calnin. Its title track would place prominently on key Spotify playlists, amassing an impressive 19 million+ streams and catching the attention of Nettwerk C.E.O. and co-founder Terry McBride, who personally signed Storm after sending him a Facebook message.

This success also saw him perform to packed crowds across Melbourne, developing a powerful presence on stage alongside the likes of Michael Franti, The Cat Empire, Husky, and more. Simultaneously receiving Australian radio play and airtime on US tastemaker KCRW.

Last September, Storm officially arrived on the global scene with his Nettwerk debut EP “Change It All”, featuring the standout title track that has over 7 million combined streams and has seen it placed in NBC’s hit TV show ‘The Blacklist’.

In the wake of this new release and with some serious momentum, Storm played a successful first series of US shows. He then returned to Australia to showcase at Australian Music Week and to support critically acclaimed Australian singer-songwriter Josh Pyke on a 12 date tour of the country.
