Insider Trading are a 4-piece band who post-punk aesthetics with post-rock 

structures and shoegaze textures, pairing them with slowcore elements that 

combine to form complex, thoughtful, and multi-layered tracks. Formed in 

Edinburgh, they have forged a reputation as one of Scotland’s most 

captivating live acts, touring extensively in the underground scene and 

playing alongside some of the UK’s most exciting up and coming musicians. 

Their most recent EP, ‘From Leith to New York’ plays on many of the common 

themes of the contemporary UK underground, balancing of soft emotional 

sections with extreme cacaphonic crescendos, tying it together with 

intentional and adept instrumentation.
