Karl Porter is from Salford, Manchester and has been doing comedy for around 3 years. With a style of high energy physical comedy, full of deft act-outs, he skilfully brings to life the characters he encounters there to life, from personal trainers to football celebrations. Winning various competitions in the north west, he’s definitely an act on the rise to watch out for. He’s just supported Brennan Reece‘s tour at The Lowry Theatre at Salford Quays.

Mark is convinced that he’s the only gay man in the world doing comedy so please be respectful and don’t tell him otherwise! Rapidly making a name for himself both online and in the real world (!), Mark was shortlisted for the BBC New Comedy Award in 2022 and is performing regularly in the country’s biggest comedy clubs.
