What do you really know about someone that you see on stage?
Dave has been a professional stand-up comedian for 15 years and still doesn’t know how that happened. Growing up he was painfully shy, solitary, and under the surface probably still is.
In his twenties T S Eliot wrote The Love Song of J Alfred Prufrock about just such a man. Ever since studying it at school it’s been a kind of soundtrack to Dave’s life.
In this spoken word show he puts joking aside and talks about shyness, loneliness, performing, and this beautiful poem.
“An engaging performer.” – The Stage
“Charming storyteller.” – Manchester Evening News
