We look forward to seeing you there, it will be Ragged End’s first gig with the new line up, Claire Northey will be playing around with a new bass pedal, and Laura Esther will be giving us an idea of what her EP launch is going to be !

Retro Indie Rock band based in Manchester bringing catchy freewheeling pop tunes held together with the emotional superglue of warm sun-bleached harmonies. Initially a creative outlet for British/Canadian Richard Burton and New Zealander Shane Robertson, this show sees an exuberant return to the scene with the addition of new members Rich Butler-Lee on drums and Dan Harries on bass.

French-born violinist Claire Northey brings an air of the North African coast to the UK. Combining French & African melodies with looped beats & vocals, Claire’s music is inspired by her time writing for theatre productions in France and Egypt. She has been joined by trumpet player Nick Oakley.

Laura Esther is a French singer-songwriter based in Manchester. Laura’s music is firmly rooted in the Soul genre but the use of instruments such as violin, bouzouki and darbuka gives the music an unexpected twist.
“With Laura’s own French background her tunes take on a truly international flavour. Laura Esther manages to create a unique sound lead by a rich soulful voice”
