Red Balloon Music is proud to present a headline show from Lewis & Leigh – Al Lewis from Wales and Alva Leigh from Mississippi – who are headlining their first tour following the release of their debut album ‘Ghost.

A stunning collection of self-penned originals, ‘Ghost’ is the culmination of a collaboration that began in 2014 when the two solo musicians first began writing together. Recorded in January 2016 at Urchin Studios in London with Matt Ingram, ‘Ghost’ celebrates the differences in their individual experiences whilst finding common ground.

Three well received EPs have built a growing following and Lewis & Leigh received two nominations (Best UK Song & Best UK Act) at the inaugural UK Americana Awards earlier this year. A stand out acoustic performance around one microphone at that event led to invitations to join Billy Bragg’s songwriters’ round at Glastonbury, to open shows for Deacon Blue on their UK tour in November and to make a return visit to the US Americana Festival in Nashville in September.

Catch them in the intimate surroundings of Gullivers in Manchester for what is sure to be a very special and memorable evening of live music.

Dear Pariah is the moniker for London based artist Charlotte Hinchcliff, a 27 year old British singer-songwriter and arranger. Her voice holds the weight of an old soul on young shoulders, with a distinctive sound that demands your attention.

Me for Queen (aka Mary Erskine) is a classically trained musician, who skillfully mixes Soul and Folk to create music inspired by people and their stories. Her piano-based songs draw obvious comparisons to Regina Spektor and Carol King but also manage to fuse hints of Kate Bush and Laura J Martin.
