London-based Georgia van Etten joins Manchester’s own Robbie Cavanagh for an incredible night of folk and Americana. Widely recognised in the U.K as two of the genre’s most talented writers, the pair bring you their masterfully written songs, together with their own bands for a double headline that is not to be missed.

Robbie Cavanagh’s superb writing is unquestionably matched by his formidable voice and musicianship. He has played top-tier UK festivals including Wilderness and Black Deer, toured the UK, Europe, US and worked alongside artists like Aaron Lee Tasjan, The Wandering Hearts and Mary Gauthier. Cavanagh’s records have had considerable BBC Radio 2 Play and support from Bob Harris (OBE) who remarked “A sincere and wonderful floor-to-tape album”. Having recently showcased at Americana-Fest in Nashville, and with an incredible new album on the way, Robbie is set to make big waves and captivate big audiences.

Recently signed to Canadian record label Birthday Cake, Georgia van Etten continues to achieve international recognition. Her debut album ‘Deep Black Water’ included a duet with one of the planet’s most talented guitarist/singer-songwriters Joey Landreth, gaining a feature in NME, music video on MTV, heavy rotation on SiriusXM North Americana (US), and a live session on BBC Radio 4’s Loose Ends. Having spent her youth in Australia performing/writing with big time artists like King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard and Alice Ivy, Georgia’s move to London sparked her own success, playing likes of Porretta Soul Festival (Italy), Falls Festival (Australia), Raadpop Festival (Netherlands), Montreux Jazz Festival (Switzerland), Ealing Blues Festival (UK) and headlining London Omeara.
