Tales of Whatever EdFringe previews: Katharine Ferns & Katie Mulgrew

Please note this is an 18+ event

Katharine Ferns is in Stitches
This new, brutally funny storytelling show from Canadian comedian Katharine Ferns (MTV, ichannel, Vancouver Fringe Mainstage) is a comedic journey about learning to laugh at the visible and invisible scars of surviving mental illness, domestic violence and drug addiction, plus some feminism for comic relief.
“The story begins on April 21st, 2016 – the day Prince passed away, and Katharine ends up in stitches (literally). Come to the show and you’ll end up in stitches too (figuratively).”

Katie Mulgrew
Katie Mulgrew is a Manchester-based stand-up comedian who’s performed at Sarah Bennetto’s Storytellers’ Club at Latitude, End of the Road festival, and taken three shows to the EdFringe (her last one, Saboteur, was about her baby – **** Fest ‘Laugh Affirming stuff’). She’s just finished a run of her award-winning play ‘Omnibus’ in Liverpool, to 5*- and 4*-star reviews (including from The Stage). She’s playing Latitude again this summer, and the storytelling show she’s working on is “about a wardrobe…but instead of Narnia, it’s Lancashire”.
