The Brummies are a genre-defying band from Birmingham, Alabama, now based in Nashville. Made up of Jacob Bryant, John Davidson, Trevor Davis, and Warren Lively, the group blends lush harmonies, analog synths, and timeless melodies into a sound that feels both nostalgic and forward-looking — somewhere between psychedelic rock, dreamy pop, and cinematic soul.

With Automatic World (2020), The Brummies dove deeper into synth-driven textures and genre experimentation — blending disco grooves, soft rock, and moody psychedelia. Their latest album, Drift Theory (2025), released June 27, is their most expansive work yet — a melodic and atmospheric journey full of synth driven indie boat rock, ambient textures, and emotionally resonant songwriting.
