Thrax Punks began as an exploration of Thrace, Greece’s, traditional folk music before the members began to experiment with modern aesthetics and various, fresh musical genres from further afield.
Formed of a gaida (bagpipe), davul (drum) and an electric guitar, these modern aesthetics include live looping, mixtures of psychedelic and math rock, thrashy guitars and a frenetic punk energy.
To date, they have played in front of ecstatic crowds in the UK, Germany, Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Cyprus.
