Tinfoils w/ Feral Family + Chupa Cabra

Please note this is an 18+ event

TINFOILS
Tinfoils are a three-piece garage-punk band based in Manchester, whose frantic brand of ‘no frills’, DIY guitar-driven music rages against the private security companies who police the streets of Britain, the royalist media machine, and youth debt – as well as having the odd song about thrush.

Since taking to the stage in early 2018 the band have headlined a number of sell-out hometown shows, as well as a string of gigs and festivals across the North of England, with highlights including supporting bands such as HIMALAYAS and The Mysterines, and checking off some of Manchester’s most prestigious live music venues. The band recently released their latest single “Call of the Abyss” on their own label, Foilwrapped Records, along with a sell-out launch party gig.

Born in Yorkshire but made in Manchester, Tinfoils are predominantly influenced by contemporary bands such as IDLES, Sleaford Mods, Thee Oh Sees, and Cabbage, but also take inspiration from a number of 20th century punk and post-punk bands such as Buzzcocks and The Fall. Manchester Evening News describes the band’s music as “sarcastic, satirical and extremely danceable.”

FERAL FAMILY
Since bursting onto the scene in early 2018. Feral Family have been hailed locally by BBC Introducing as one of the most exciting new wave of dark indie rock bands to come from the city of Sheffield in the last ten years. After their last single “The North” hit the air waves on BBC introducing, they have been constantly up and down the UK playing shows with the likes of, Yonaka, SHEAFS, Blackwaters, Strange Bones, Calva Louise and many more established and up and coming artists. With the magic man producer that is Gavin Monaghan (JAWS, The Twang, Ocean Colour Scene, The Blinders) at there helm on production duties they have a catalogue of unreleased singles they have recorded. They are ready for a constant string of releases in 2020.

Chupa Cabra
One generation or another’s alienation, derangement and dirty washing, projected back at you through Chupa Cabra’s Nauseating, salivating, hypnotizing, no good sucker-punch-piss-yourself polystyrene agitator Blues. Chupa Cabra have been signed to Trashmouth records for a couple of years who released their debut album in 2018 and are currently working on a second. The band have recently taken their unique brand of hard-hitting garage-punk on tour around the UK with Cabbage as well as oversees on their own European Tour.
