A show celebrating the kick ass women in all our families. The ones that stood the test of time despite obstacles via their faith, family, culture or the times they lived in. Sometimes we need to visit our past to understand why we are the way we are today.
Whilst we’re at it – what happened to the women of colour in the filmSuffragette? The other girls shot by the Taliban alongside Malala? Who are our ethnically diverse heroines? Partician, refugees, internalized misogyny. So who’s YOUR heroine?
