Hayley Ellis (8-9pm)

Hayley Ellis, described as “destined for comedy greatness” (XFM) brings her face to the Women in comedy festival. She talks of Vienetta, how her granddad thinks she’s now too old to be a mother and how she thinks about her funeral song more than her wedding song. Hayley has provided Tour support for Kerry Godliman and Roisin Conaty amongst others.

Sally-Anne Hayward (9-10.30pm)

The “warm and very funny” (Sarah Millican) Sally-Anne Hayward brings her razor sharp wit to the Women in comedy festival. She talks of relationships, an obsession with death and her partners utter amazement at the prospect of Baked Alaska.  Sally-Anne works extensively throughout the UK and abroad and is lucky enough to have been a tour support for Russell Howard. Sally and Hayley have combined their wit and writing talents and produced some sketches which they will perform in the final section of the evening.
